Three Serpentine mounds ranging from 15′ to 30′L x 10′ to 20′W x 3′H. Five steel vine topiaries. The mounds are made of soil, sod, salvaged architectural remnants for seating. I designed the vines to work with the message on the billboard: Plant your roots in the city.

The mounds referred to the original presence of
the indigenous population. This project was commissioned by the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, the Bicentennial Commission, and Cleveland Public Art.
