Paradigm Race @ SPACES Plum Academy Commencement 1Paradigm Race held during SPACES’ Plum Academy Commencement, October 23 2009. Approximately fifty art, philosophy and physics texts; two stationary bicycles, one rowing machine. Contestants matched their wits and stamina in a race for the ruling theory (at least for an evening). Whoever lasted the longest in her/his ability to pontificate while engaged in physical exertion earned an honorary doctorate.

The Ingenuity Festival, originally conceived as a “movable feast,” has literally transformed various alleys, buildings and arcades in downtown Cleveland since its inception in 2005.
